How to preview a theme with my content before activating?

    Hi….I have not worked in WordPress for quite some time and things have changed considerably in the past few years. I’m considering launching a new blog…and I need to be able to preview a number of (free) themes before settling on one that will best suit my needs. Formerly this was very easy to do, plus it was fun! But now I can’t find the right button to push that will give me a preview like in the old days. Live Demo just shows the theme with the demo images and such, only my own title is on top. I tried installing each theme, but that still only shows the demo theme, not my content. What am I doing wrong? I have always loved WordPress and wouldn’t want to give it up for this reason…

    Hi.
    Go to your WP-Admin
    https://wildwanderingirl.wordpress.com/wp-admin

    and then, go to Appearance→ Themes.
