How to print without ads
-
We would like to print our entries from Jan -Mar of 2020 without ads.

Hello,
I’m afraid that is not functionality that WordPress.com offers.
It is an interesting idea though and I will pass it on to the product development team for future consideration.

I should clarify, there are a couple ways that you could achieve that. But all would require upgrading to a paid WordPress.com plan. I suspect that wasn’t the answer you were looking for, so I didn’t offer it initially. But, in the interest of offering all the info I have:
If you upgrade to any paid plan, there will be no advertising on your site. So you could print as you are now and no ads would appear.
If you upgraded to the WordPress.com Business plan, there are a number of “Print Your Blog!” plugins that could be installed on your site to assist with printing.

staff-ozmodiar couldn’t an xml export of those posts be used with a site like Blogbooker?

@supernovia Are you saying that if I make an xml export file of my whole site (or even just selected posts) to move some/all of my content to a new site (which may be self-hosted) then your ads will still be included in that file and display at another host ?!?
-
@themagicrobot, I think @supernovia might have misunderstood :)
An export file should not include any ads, no. Those are added to a post dynamically when it’s loaded in a browser, and does not form part of the post content in the site database. When you create a site export, it only exports what’s in the database.
So, @fscory, you can create an export file of the posts for the months you want, and then use blogbooker.com to convert that into a printable PDF format for you.
