How to promote your blog the right way?

  I am trying to find out some ways to promote my blog the right way. Any of you other wordpress users have any advice? :)

  I have a similar question. I just put up my first page and tried a search for my blog on both google and on wordpress.com search and didn’t come up with it at all… how are people going to find out that it exists?

  Follow the instructions for linking your blog to your username; instructions are in the thread called 8 Things, at the top of the forum.

  And do a search of this forum. There are several hundred tips in the forum on getting more exposure for your blog.
