You can use a text widget to display links, simple text, images, tables, CSS styled HTML, or a combination.

hi,
Thanks…
i used Text widget to do this and created a new page to link with it. But this new page is appearing in the main menu also (along with About Us, Home….).
I dont want this newly created link to appear in the main menu but it should only appear in the sidebar.
Please tell me how can i do this. -
Is this the blog you are referring to: http://reachnareshk.wordpress.com/
(I don’t see a text widget link to any page)
Here is information about hiding pages:

Make the page you are talking about a child of another page and it will then not show in the top navigation. Then edit the link in the text widget to reflect the URL of that child page.
