How to publish

  I want to publish a book/text in a form similar to this: https://cmcort.files.wordpress.com/2012/08/de-las-partes-del-edificio2.pdf
  Can this be done on the free website? If not, what and how?

  Hi, just to clarify, are you going to share the book on your website or sell it?

  Or are you hoping to use your website to generate a book like that?

  It’s a book of mine, gone out of print, which I want to put out there to share with anyone (not to sell)

  In that case, you can try embedding the file as explained here:

  https://wordpress.com/support/embedding-a-pdf-file/

  You can also let others download it straight from your site using the File Block:

  https://wordpress.com/support/wordpress-editor/blocks/file-block/

  I don’t yet have a website. So which can I do it on? Free one, Personal or what?

  You can do the above on any plan so it’s up to you which one you choose :) Paid plans allow you to register a custom domain for free (you’ll only start paying for it next year: https://wordpress.com/support/domains/domain-pricing-and-available-tlds/) and also remove the ads from your site.
