How to publish just part of a post on Facebook….
-
I know this information is available somewhere in the settings of each blog, but I cannot remember how to do it, and would like to change the way my post is published on Facebook, and maybe also in email notifications. What is happening is that many people end up reading my blog on Facebook, commenting there, but never jumping over to the blog itself.
A friend advised me to publish only a “teaser”, so that visitors would have to come to the blog to read the rest, that’ s basically what I’d like to know how to do.
Is it possible to also reduce the info in the email notifications?
Thank you!
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

How are you currently putting your blog on Facebook? Notes will pull the whole thing in, so don’t use Notes. I use Networked Blogs, and that works well.

For email & rss subscriptions, you can reduce the amount of text shown by going to Settings>Reading and choosing “summary” where it says “For each article in a feed, show.”

I am not sure how I’m putting it, I just used the “publish with Facebook” thingie on WordPress, to the right of the “Edit a Post” screen
maybe I should try to find out if there’s a way to edit it?

Thanks! I changed the email and rss subscriptions to a “summary” only! That takes care of half of my problem…
Now I’ll try to figure out the Facebook thing
