How to Publish Posts to Pages other than Home Page?
-
Hello,
I am new to WordPress and Blogging in general. I am trying to find a better way to organize my Pages and Posts. I understand the theory of Pages are for more longterm information and the Home Page is where the Posts are Published but here is what I would like to do and need to know how or if this is possible…
I am a sports fanatic and like to blog about it. I want to have the following setup…
Pages:
Home Page – Shows most recent posts (i.e. Last 5 posts).
NFL – Page that will contain my Football Posts
NBA – Page that will contain my Basketball Posts
MLB – Page that will Contain my Baseball Posts
etc…I understand how to create the individual Pages above, what I do not see a way to do is to Publish posts to the desired Page. All posts are published to the home page. I can see the creation of the permalink for a Post or Page and though you can edit, only the Post portion can be changed.
Is there a way to change he permalink to force the post to be published to a specific Page? If not, is there another way to do this?
Thank you,
BorisKThe blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

You do not create static pages. This is what you do: http://wpbtips.wordpress.com/2010/06/30/posts-on-pages/
