How to publish/catalog posts with an older timestamp

  So, I have been without internet connection for a while and I need to publish some posts with pictures, dated a month and a half back.

  I write the post and set the date a month and a half back, but when I publish the post it shows as published today. I’ve tried to edit it, and the date shows as a month and a half back, but the post is cataloged as published today. I need it cataloged before my current posts in the post list…!

  I hope you understand the issue and have an easy fix/procedure to offer.

  I’m not seeing posts published with today’s date on your blog.
  Can you please point me to a post where the date on the front end is different than the date set in the post editing window?

  … I deleted it because it didn’t show. I used the preview button, and when previewing it doesn’t show as correctly cataloged.
  I now tried posting them 4real, and it appears to work just fine.

  Not sure where it went wrong the other times, but it appears to be working.

  Sorry for any inconvenience – I accept the fact that I didn’t test it out properly myself.
