How to purchase Custom Design

So I have a different blog and on that one Ive purchased a custom domain and custom design. Just those. $26 for one and $30 for the other. No premium plan purchased.
So now I start a new blog and I purchase my custom domain and am trying to buy my custom design but whenever I do, it tries to make me update my plan to premium or business, which I don’t want to do. On top of that, even when I try to purchase a premium plan it doesnt give me the discount for the custom domain so…….
I know its possible to purchase JUST a custom design so why cant I do it?

You need to use an account that is older than Sept 1, 2014 – the account you are posting from is new – so you are subject to the new improved Cable TV Bundle pricing upgrade where you need to buy all sorts of things you don’t seem to want or need
I and several others argued against the new policy and lost – sorry
To transfer your blog to an older account: http://en.support.wordpress.com/moving-a-blog/#transferring-your-blog-to-another-wordpress-com-user-or-account
The add your new account name to the transferred blog and you can post with the new name by going down to the bottom of the new post area and pick an different author (the pick a different author is how I post for a friends blog that i own but they email me posts while they are sailing & retired)

Sooooo, my other blog account is older than that date so if I transfer to that account then I should be able to do it?

Yes – older accounts should be grandfathered for the old price plan – so said the staff a while back when I ask if I registered a new blog on my 5 year old account if I could still purchase the individual items and they said yes I could

Do you know why it won’t let me transfer b/c I have a custom domain? Or do you know how to solve that?
