How to put a badge in the sidebar.

  I would like to know how to put a badge from the NaNoWriMo site to my site? I would like to put it in the side bar. Thank you.

  You can try a adding the code into a Text widget, but they might use code that we can’t allow.

  Nope. That didn’t work. Mainly because it’s an image. I doubt if the National Novel Writing Org would use a code that is not allowed.

  If it’s just an image, have you tried an Image widget?

  Yes, I have. It asks for an Image URL. I don’t have that. I have an image in my files that I can copy and paste. Here is the site with NaNWriMo badges. http://www.nanowrimo.org/en/webbadges

  In this case, just grab the image you want to, upload it via an Image widget to your sidebar, and set the link as http://www.nanowrimo.org/
