how to put a badge in the text box

  I have read the FAQ section on this and tried about 20 times. I can’t figure it out…??? Please help!
  I have a code from the “20something bloggers” website and I can copy that, but I have no idea how to make it show up. I’ve tried a lot of different things but the most I can get to show up on my page is “<a href=”. What am I doing wrong???

  Please show us the code. Paste it here between backticks, those little ` marks on the same key as the ~. As in
  backtick, code, backtick to close

  Then we can take a look. If the code contains javascript, though, it will never work. We have to use the plain HTML version here at WP.com.

  Here’s your problem:
  x-shockwave-flash

  Flash is not allowed on WP.com for security reasons. They should have a non-flash, non-javascript version of the button, so look around for one.

  We can’t use flash, javascript, iframes, or forms other than the contact form described in the FAQ. It’s because the guts of our blogs are all shared and a security risk introduced by one person would affect all people using that theme. That’s way too much risk exposure.

  Copy paste. Don’t forget to put a title in, otherwise it doesn’t look right on the sidebar.
