How to put a button within a form fill-in

    Hi there,

I would like to put a button within one of my form sections.

For example: I only have one section for my form and it’s email, but instead of having my button underneath it I want the button within where you type in your email.

Is there CSS to do this?

  • Hi there,

I don’t see any contact forms on your site at http://noveligroup.com/. Can you please provide a link to the page containing the form?

It should be possible to use custom CSS to style the email input field to look like a button. But that won’t replace the submit button itself. Form input fields and form submission buttons are two completely different and separate things, in terms of the underlying code, and it’s not possible to have something that’s both a submission button and an input field at the same time.

I accidentally chose the wrong website, it’s actually http://www.thepropertytrend.com

Would it be possible to just put the submit button next to the form? Right now it will only go below it.

  • @felicianikolerowley where exactly would you like to add it? Bear in mind that it may be confusing for some of the users if they will see a button to submit right next to Name or Email field and you will probably receive some empty messages :)

Also, remember that with your plan you can access Live Chat directly via https://wordpress.com/help/contact. That way you can get help faster.
