How to put a Category onto Homepage :/ (simple?)

This must be really simple for you guys…but I am clueless when it comes to code :(
Here’s my index.php (which I assume is the homepage?) – http://pastebin.com/LLP8kyZA
All I want to achieve is to have an unlimited number of posts from category 15 to display on my homepage (WP Reader settings only allows Pages or Latest posts for the homepage!)
I’ve already edited content.php and content-page.php to get_content instead of get_excerpt if this affects things in any way

I’ve tried putting <?php query_posts ($query_string . ‘&cat=15’); ?>
before //Start the Loop, but that doesnt work :( -
