how to put music notation in a blog

Has anyone any suggestions about how to put musical notation in a blog? That is, apart from scanning it in an uploading it as a picture as I’ve found this a bit untidy. If you’ve posted music notation successfully please let me know how you did it.

Can Sibelius Scorch be included in a blog?
(I’m not sure if it is free or not.) -
I don’t know about that but I’m thinking along the lines of using a programme like sibelius and then making a pdf but there are problems with that approach, e.g. what if you only want a few bars and you have to print a whole page. You can get Scorch for free but I’m not sure how complete the free version is. I used to have it – I might try it again.
