How to put my blogroll in a page
-
Hi,
What I really want to do is to have my blogroll in a page so that I could add it as a custom menu, instead of having a long blogroll on the side of my page. Is that possible to do and how?
Thank you.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Since a blog roll is just a bunch of links it can be done on a page – just not as easily.
I do something like that on a couple of my sites. I just made a Page called “Article Index” (or whatever you want) then just put the links on the page as regular text with what ever you want to say then turn the text into a link using the insert link at the top of the editor (the chain thing).
To the best of my knowledge the blog roll widget will not go on a Page or Post

In some themes, they have a “links” page template.
If you are using a theme that does not have a links page template, then your only recourse would be to do it manually by adding all the links to a page.

You don’t have to insert the links one by one if you already have a blog-roll. Put the blog-roll widget into your sidebar temporarily. Go to “view source” and copy the unordered list of links from the widget.
The code will even pick up the description when you hover over the link.
