how to put nextgen slideshow in sidebar

  I have a sidebar which is hard corded and I’d like to put nextgen small slide show in the sidebar at front page only. I am using wordpress 2.7.1.

  If I enable nextgen widget my hard corded stuff(in sidebar) is gone. What I’d like to implement is

  1. Put the nextgen slideshow in the sidebar in front page.
  2. For other pages, no nextgen slideshow in sidebar.

  I have looked php wideget code & widget logic but I don’t know how to mix those to have outcome.
  Any help would be appreciated.
