How to put under a fixed custom other pages?

  Hi there,

  If you’re trying to activate your custom menu, you’ll need to assign your menu to a theme location. You can do so at Appearance → Menus in your dashboard.

  Thanks, but I want to use the blog like a website, so I want to do it
  with the static top-level tabs. To make it static was easy, but I cannot
  put pages under it. How to do that?

  You can organize your menu by dragging and dropping the different menu items into place. If you drag a menu item underneath another item and then drag it slightly to the right, you will be able to position pages under each menu item.

  I tried that some time ago and it worked, but now I try to drag items but nothing happens except that the parts are marked!

  By marked, do you mean checked? Once you check them, you need to click the Add to Menu button, then you can drag them around.

  No they are marked as if you want to copy them. What can I drag the categories or the pages? Can you explain the whole process? To fix the level is easy, but then and 1 time I managed but now nothing is moving????

  Are you trying to drag the items via your Menus page, accessible via your Dashboard -> Appearance -> Menus?

  If so, you can simply click each of the gray boxes and drag them below a different “Parent” item by holding down your mouse as you move the gray box. Once you do this, be sure to click “Save” for the changes to take effect :)

  Similarly, you will need to select a menu from the drop-down menu below “Primary Navigation” in order for this menu to appear as active on your site.

  Yes, via the menu dashboard. I can move the pages and the categories with all of them inside, but it flips back to the old place.

  Can you please try clearing your browser cache and cookies and try again and let me know if that fixes the problem for you?

  If that doesn’t help, would it be possible to test from an alternate web browser to see if the same problem is happening on all browsers for you?

  Thanks, it is working now. Also I tried another way to have sub- columns. Thanks a lot.

  Now another problem- sometimes when I want to edit a page my cursor
  is not moving and it is also not easy to drag items around.

  That sounds like it is related to your web browser. What browser are you using when you encounter that issue?

  designsimply recommended using a different web browser like Firefox. Did you try that?
