How to put up a place holder/coming soon page?

  Hello – We are still working on our site but would like to put up a placeholder stating the site will launch in March. How can we do this?

  The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  Hi there!

  We don’t have a built in ‘under construction’ or launch page. But you can create your own by creating a page that says what you want:

  Create a Page

  Then set that page as your front page following these steps:

  Set the Homepage

  Thanks for the reply! So if I make the “coming soon” page live to be viewed online, how to keep the other pages private while we work on them?

  There a couple of steps to this.

  First, you can publish the pages privately. Here’s some info on post visibility:

  The second thing I would suggest is making a temporary menu that hides all of your work in progress pages. It looks like you have a current menu set up, but here’s the doc on creating them in case you need a refresher:
