How to put widgets on blog but not static pages in 2010

  Is there any way to add widgets to the blog but not the static pages in 2010?
  I’ve looked but cant see any options for this.
  I’d appreciate your help

  The keyword phrases are:
  Full Width Template
  Pages
  Page attributes module :)

  Some themes have additional templates that you can use to create pages with additional features or custom layouts. You can see if your current theme has any additional templates by checking the Template section of the Page Attributes module. (look for “Full Width Template”)
