How to re-use a blog address mistakenly deleted by myselt?

  Hi, I’m new to wordpress and in a fit of confusion deleted my blog and its address. I then reinstated the blog but because I’d ‘permanently’ deleted the address I’ve had to rename the blog. So ‘sunshinepiano.wordpress’ has become ‘sunshinepianokids.wordpress’. I would prefer the original name. I’ve read the article that explains why permanently deleted blog addresses can’t be reused but I’m wondering if there is anything that can be done as the address was mine and deleted by me so it’s not the same as a stranger taking on the name and ‘assuming’ my blog identity! Hope that makes sense and I would very much appreciate any help you can give me.

  Permanently deleted blog addresses can’t be re-used. That’s correct.

  No, I’ve never heard of staff making any exceptions:
  Once a blog has been deleted, it is forever gone…
