How to reactivate deleted account?

  I’m trying to create a blog but username is reserved. When I try to login with that username it says it is deleted. When I try recovery, it does nothing.

  I was my old username accidentally created while commenting on some blog. I have changed it later, but now it seems that it has reserved it for blog url.

  Is there a way to either recover username or to release it so it can be used as a blog url?

  these are the words that appear from wordpress when i put my URL in a browser

  abbottkal.wordpress.com doesn’t exist
  The address abbottkal.wordpress.com cannot be registered. Sorry, that site is reserved! But you can sign up and choose another one.

  i own the username
  abbottkal.wordpress.com

  but i dont know how to verify that i own it, as i dont have any of the keys WORDPRESS requires.
