how to read a random post

I am doing this project about blog posts for my university. This requires me to take sample of random blog posts. Hence, I would like to know if it is possible to get a random URL to a random blog post every time I click on something. Or is there a special URL that can do this job? If I remember correctly, you guys used to have a button like “read a random post!” long time ago, but I can’t find it anywhere now. Your helpful advise will be very much appreciated.

It’s easy to post a link in a text widget in your wordpress blog’s sidebar that when clicked will display a random post found in your blog. http://onecoolsitebloggingtips.com/2011/02/13/wordpress-create-a-random-post-icon/
