How to receive access to my domain name form my old web services company

  I already had a company running a website for me and I want to keep my domain name. How do I transfer it to this service?

  1. Did you originally pay for the domain, or did the web services company purchase the domain for you? And, what is the domain?
  2. Are you wanting to move both the domain and the website to our services here at WordPress.com? Or, are you wanting to move only the domain, and then using our services to build a new website for your domain?
