First I registered blinkenmedia.wordpress.com and associated my domain blinkenmedia.it
*then*
I deleted blinkenmedia.wordpress.com and opened mformento.wordpress.com
*but*
now how can re-associate blinkenmedia.it to the new blog (also re-paying)? The system tells me that is already usedthanks!

You will have to wait until staff are back from vacation and get them to do it for you. Upgrades only apply to the blogs for which they are purchased, so while the $5 got you the domain name itself, it’ll cost you $10 to map it to a blog other than the one it was purchased for originally. Staff will be back January 2nd.

I also have a problem in that when I wanted to create a now blog, I mistakenly placed the new domain within my original blog, sanctuarywithoutwalls.com. I’d like to remove templeofthecosmos.com from sanctuarywithoutwalls.com, but I found something somewhere that said I must wait 60 days.
In the meantime, I’ve bought a different domain name adding a “the” to it (thetempleofthecosmos.com), and I’ve been working on that new blog. Might it be possible to move templeofthecosmos.com from sanctuarywithoutwalls.com to thetempleofthecosmos.com? I hope this isn’t too confusing….
Thanks for any help you can offer. And happy new year! -

Standard web policies state that you need to wait for 60 before you can change registrars. However, you’re in luck. You can still have your domain you purchased on wp.com point to another website. Although, you still don’t get many nifty features such as sub-domains.
