How to recover account without Proof of Ownership?
-
I made multiple accounts with wordpress back in 2007/2008 and I’ve been tracking down the emails I used to open them to close the websites down. Since I was about 9 years old when I opened them, you can imagine how cringey the posts are on those websites.
I have to close down two blogs that contain my full name and personal information (and shows up on the front page of Google). Unfortunately, I do not have any of the proof of ownership required for account recovery because they were free accounts and any activation URLs are in the email accounts I no longer have access to.
Just wondering if I can have these websites taken down by WordPress or put on private just so they dont show up on Google. I’d be happy to provide any proof of identification such as ID if necessary.

Hi leoorpillaiii! This is something a Staff member needs to help you with, so I added the modlook tag to the tag box to alert a member of staff to assist you.

Hi there,
Can you please give the addresses of the sites involved so I can take a look? Though if you don’t have access to the emails any more, and also don’t have access to any of the other recovery info, we won’t be able to give you access to the sites.

I’ve emailed you at the address connected to this account. Let me know if you don’t receive that email.
