How to Recover Domain in Redemption Period

  I’m trying to recover my site’s domain (christineschulze.com) I was unable to renew my subscription earlier this year. I just renewed my plan under a different domain name, but the domain I want (christineschulze.com) is not showing up in my wordpress.com domains page, however, it is still not available again on the open market, with the WHOIS info showing Wild West Domains as the registrar of record. I called Wild West Domains the reseller registrar and they said they can’t help and I would have to contact wordpress. So here I am, what are the next steps I should take? How can I regain my domain while it’s still in the redemption period

  I see others have paid an $80 fee to get their domain back. If that is still an option, I am willing to do so for the domain christineschulze.com
