How to recover site if non-wordpress hosting is down

    my hosting went down and it was through a friend who I can’t contact right now. I have domain through go daddy and the hosting was dream host. Is my blog that was wordpress lost or can I recover it with new hosting? I am trying to get my site back up and recover all the past blogs that were through wordpress. When I would login to blog, it would be a wordpress site. I was able to login to the wordpress website and my page is listed, but it isn’t pulling up any information.

    Contact your web host. That site is not on WordPress.COM servers and you cannot get support for it here. You are posting to the wrong support forum.

    WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, passwords support docs and support forums, and many people get confused about the two.
