how to redirect BACK to www.name.wordpress.com
-
Hi, I own http://www.modernmixvancouver.wordpress.com and bought the domain name (through wordpress) http://www.modernmixvancouver.com. Currently, everything points to the new domain. However, I recently switched servers in order to use wordpress.org and now I want to STOP redirecting everything from http://www.modernmixvancouver.wordpress.com to http://www.modernmixvancouver.com because I want people to be able to still see my old site content (since I didn’t transfer all the content to my new site). Is this possible? What can I do?

I *think* what you need to do is put the blog back at the wordpress.com domain. (And, BTW – there is no www in any of those addresses.) If you go to upgrades>domains in your dashboard, you should see 2 lines – one with the mondermixvancouver.com address and the other with the ..wordpress.com address. Next to the wordpress.com one should be a link that says “Put blog here.” Click on that and your blog should now be visible at the wordpress.com address.
