How to redirect my wordpress blog to a new domain?

  hello,
  I purchased the domain nootherfilter.com and I’d like to redirect my blog https://nootherfilterblog.wordpress.com/ to that new domain but it doesn’t seem to be working.
  What should I do?

  Hi there! I checked the WordPress.com domain helper https://en.support.wordpress.com/domain-helper/

  and it looks like your blog is mapped to a different version of your WordPress.com blog at nootherfilter.WordPress.com instead of the one you mentioned in your post. That one appears to be a French version of the same site.

  If you need to change the destination of that domain, you can go back into your domains settings and edit the domain accordingly. Here’s a support document on the Domains page: https://wordpress.com/domains/

  Hey there! Thank you so much for you reply
  Here’s what happened I had created the nootherfilter blog with my wordpress account jesuislinsolente.com and since it is a blog that has nothing to do with my previous blog, I asked wordpress to transfer the blog http://nootherfilter.wordpress.com/ and its upgrades to the user ‘nof84’. Instead of doing so, I just realized that the person created a new wordpress blog http://nootherfilterblog.wordpress.com/ without telling me. Now We’ve been working on this new blog but the destination of the domain notherfilter is the previous one (http://nootherfilter.wordpress.com/).
  When I tried to change the domain settings as you suggested, I couldn’t because it says that the domain nootherfilter.com is not valid.
  I dont know what to do.
  I just want one wordrpress account http://nootherfilterblog.wordpress.com/ redirected to the domain nootherfilter. com and to delete the other wordpress account http://nootherfilter.wordpress.com/

  Is it clear :/

  Wow, ok that seems to be a bit of a jumbled mess at the moment :)

  Ok, the first part of this is working as expected now. I can delete the extra site (http://nootherfilter.wordpress.com/) for you as well, but since there has been confusion, I want to confirm that we are on the same page about the first part.

  Just leave a note confirming nootherfilter. com is connected to the site you want to use, and I’ll delete the other site for you.
