How to redirect old url to new url
-
I have an article posted using add new post e.g. myblogname.wordpress.com/2014/09/04/benefits-of-exercise/
I decided that the article is better to be a page so I intend to move it to a page myblogname.wordpress.com/benefits-of-exercise/
I intend to delete the old url myblogname.wordpress.com/2014/09/04/benefits-of-exercise/
How can I redirect the old url to new url, so that people visiting the old url myblogname.wordpress.com/2014/09/04/benefits-of-exercise/ will immediately be redirected and land at myblogname.wordpress.com/benefits-of-exercise/
Thanks

Such automatic single instance redirects are not possible on WordPress.com
If the article is a huge traffic magnet for you, you are better off leaving it where it is as a Post and using a Custom Menu to include it in your site’s navigation menu. See more here: http://en.support.wordpress.com/menus/
