How to redirect to my wordbress site

    I have another domain name (www… whatever) that I tried to redirect to my (www…whatever.wordpress.com) . When I do that I get this message (Warning! Domain mapping upgrade for this domain not found. Please log in and go to the Domains Upgrades page of your blog to use this domain. ). My question is… Can I redirect from my other site with ease OR do I need to buy an additional service, etc. Thank You.

    As far as I understand you will need to buy the upgrade to be able to redirect/map a domain to your wordpress.com site.
