How to redirect traffic from Blogger to my new wordpress.com blog
-
I’ve recently made the switch from blogger to wordpress and I’ve had no trouble importing my content. However, many of my posts on my blogger blog generate a lot of traffic and I’d like to find a way to have my readers be automatically sent to the same content on my new WordPress blog when they click on a link for content originally posted on my blogger site.
Basically, I would like people who are trying to reach a page at my old domain of mycoolblogname.blogspot.com be automatically redirected to it’s content twin on mycoolblogname.com (hosted by WordPress.com).
I’m not very technical-term savvy so if this is possible, could I get the how-to in the most simple terms possible? I really appreciate it!

Howdy and welcome!
I’m looking through Blogger’s documentation, since this is something that would have to be done on their end, and I’m coming up short on a solution.
One thing you can do is forward your RSS feed, so if anyone subscribed to your Blogger site via Feedly or another feedreader, they can continue to get updates.
In your Blogger dashboard for your old blog, visit the Settings->Other page and add a “Post Feed Redirect URL” of http://allyjeanblog.com/feed/ .
You may want to contact their support in case there is a solution that I overlooked. Their forums are over at https://productforums.google.com/forum/?hl=en#!forum/blogger
Welcome again! Cheers.
