How to refund payment?

    Hi all.

    I have no payments in my account. There is no card information in the account. My plan is not paid, I canceled all paid plans a long time ago.

    But a year later, somehow WP processed a transaction for almost $300 as if I had never canceled anything. But at the same time, I repeat, my plan has not changed, and there is nothing in payments. And there’s nothing in the mail. That’s why I can’t contact support.

    How can I still get through to WP to at least find out why they took money from me?

    I have checked the WordPress.com account and do not see any active paid upgrades of $300 in your account. You had a domain registration on 19 August, 2023, which has now expired. There are no other charges in your account.

    Hello.

    But how can I understand what (which account) I was charged for if there is no WP account name in the bank transaction? I need a support person who can tell by the transaction number/date what it was.

    Actually, this is the problem – the money has been withdrawn, but the reason is nowhere to be seen.

    In that case, there are two options:

    1. Go to https://wpchrg.wordpress.com/ and enter the charge details. It will show you what the charge is for. You can submit the form directly to our billing team, who will review it and email you with further information.
    2. Locate the transaction ID on your credit card or bank statement (here’s how) and send it to billingsupport@wordpress.com.
