how to remove an administrator

  the former president of our home owners association set up a wordpress website, and is an administrator. she quit her role on the hoa. how do we remove her from administrator? she’s going rogue with posting changes, etc. … thank you

  The default is Settings sidebar > Users. That lists the users (including admins) operating on your blog.

  But I could foresee what your possible problem might be. If you or somebody are ‘same-level’ admins, then you could remove other admins/users. If none of you have the same high-level admin rights as your ex-president, then you’re stuck and out of the loop and can’t remove him.

  If they set up the blog and registered it with their account – then you are out of luck – they can’t be removed – they can transfer the blog to another account – but you can’t throw them out –

  All blogs are owned by the original account (email address)

  Your only option if they don’t want to give you the blog is to hire a lawyer and go to court
