how to remove an expired Domain Registered with WordPress.com

  Hello
  My domain eraleen.com has expired on April 23, 2013. I’ve been trying to purchase it
  from other Registrar‎s online but they claim this domain is already registered on WILD WEST DOMAINS, LLC and it’s Registry Status is redemptionPeriod
  Please help me to remove the domain name from your lists so I will be able to use my name as a domain with other registers

  So the “redemption period” is essentially a “late fee” period where you can still regain control of your domain but have to pay an $80 fee to do so. Frustrating? Yes, I’ve been there myself and it is very much so. But it is common practice for every registrar that I am aware of.

  Your domain’s redemption period ends on the 3rd. So it may get released to be registered again in the next few weeks. However, it may also get snapped up by domain squatters. So I can offer no guarantees about your ability to register it again.
