How to remove Author Info from under each post??

  Hello, I am trying to remove the About The Author box from my site and I have tried various .css edits that I have found and nothing seems to work. I am not very well versed at the .CSS stuff but I really want this section gone as I am the only one that post and its very repetitive and annoying . Here is an example post and you can see the section im talking about under the photo but above the comments

  If I unlink my site from the WP site will that stop the author box from showing?
