how to remove author's name from post

    Hi,
    How do I remove author’s name from every post?

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

  • Unknown's avatar

    On the homepage and the archive pages, or on the single post view as well?

  • Unknown's avatar

    on all the pages as I will be only author – furthermore it is my personal website. Thank you

    You’re welcome.

    To remove the author from dynamic pages, add this:

    p.postinfo {
        display: none;
    }
    .entry-content {
        margin-top: 10px;
    }

    On the single post view the way the metadata are formed makes it difficult if not impossible to do exactly what you’re looking for. I can remove the “Chef Devagi” link alright, but then I’m left with “Posted by on [etc]”: I can’t think of a way to eliminate just the word “by”.

    Thank you very much. Hurray!! my name is gone on the homepage but it is still there in all my posts…….it is alright :-)

    Now, I have a another question. I am using theme Instyle.
    How do I centralized all the boxes. Right now it is filling up my entire 15″ screen and it is all over the place if I view it on my ipad or when I view it in a screen that is rectangle in shape……. How do I narrow it down? do I make sense? :-)

    You’re welcome.
    I’m not sure I understand your new question. The theme is designed to display your posts in as many columns as possible (I’m seeing five columns, on a narrower screen I would see four, on an even narrower I would see three, and so on). You mean you don’t like this, and you want to limit this to a certain maximum number of columns, or to a fixed number of columns?
