How to remove black line between last paragraph in a blog and and image?
If you scroll to the bottom of the post you will see a thick black line after the last paragraph and the image at the very bottom of the post.

Hi there,
From what I can see, that border is set in one of the nested groups that is making up the layout of the page. You can see it in the video I recorded here: Block with border settings
This can be found by editing your homepage template directly here: https://snugglydogcarseatsblog.com/wp-admin/site-editor.php
By the way I noticed that you have created what looks like a blog post directly in your template (it has formatting that suggests this) but typically it is better if you enter your posts individually here, so that WordPress can manage them using the built in blog engine: https://wordpress.com/posts/snugglydogcarseatsblog.com
You will note that you do have a blog post there that is very similar, but not the same since it does not have the underline.
Instead, it’s usually best to set up your individual blog posts, and then you can set up the template to show the list of posts in a way that is generated dynamically. For example we have two block (the Blog Posts Block and the Query Loop Block) that will display the posts on your site automatically, and can be styled to present this list of posts in a way that is pleasing to you based on the included block options.
We cover how to do this in a recent webinar that you can catch up on here if you are curious to see how this would work.
Hope that helps. Please let us know if you have any more questions.

Hello!
Thank you so much for your help!
I sorted out the issues I had but now when I click the read more button my post displays a huge image on a black background on top! If you scroll down the post displays exactly the way I want it.
Is there any way to remove the huge image on top on the black background and just display the post below that?
Incidentally is there a way to just set the query loop to show all text/paragraphs in a post instead of using a read more button?

Yup! Replace The Excerpt block with the Post Content block. Here’s how:
The Post Content block displays the content of a post or page in your site’s templates. This guide will show you how to use this block when creating your website. Understand the Post Content Block When editing any template on your site, you will likely encounter the Post Content block. This block ensures that the content of your pages and posts appears in the template. For example, youI sorted out the issues I had but now when I click the read more button my post displays a huge image on a black background on top! If you scroll down the post displays exactly the way I want it.
Right now your Single Post template has a big image, an excerpt in black, and info on how long it takes to read the post, but it looks like that part could be messed up since it’s white on white.
You can edit the Single Post template to your liking same as you can edit any other template — maybe swap out the header and take out the parts you don’t like? Just be sure to leave a content block there.
Please let us know if that helps!
