how to remove categories from featured images in wordpress home page

    Hi WordPress,
    I am wondering if there is a way to remove the categories from showing up over the front of the featured images on my blog feed. It’s taking over half the image and I don’t want it to be seen. I just want the featured image to be shown, no categories over the top.

    The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

    Howdy!

    It looks like you recently switched to the Spun theme. Are you happy with the current layout and look now? This theme should not display categories over top of the featured images on your blog page.

    Let me know if you have any difficulty setting up the theme!
