How to remove “Comments are closed.”

  Hi,

  This may have been addressed before i’m sure.

  My question is how do I remove “Comments are closed.” on the bottom left side of my web theme?
  the theme i have chosen is a sales letter theme. so it should not look like a blog in anyway.

  I have disabled comments already, but am new to WordPress and am not sure how to remove this.Would this be located somewhere in the .php?

  Seems like this question is pretty standard anyway. Why would you need to see the blog necessarily?

  You are. But for blogs hosted by WordPress.COM. Fully a third of the questions we get are from people hosted elsewhere.

  Why not stop being coy and give us the URL? If the blog is set as private, we can’t see it but will still be able to determine if you’re in the right place.
