How to remove copyright notice.

    My blog is not copyrighted. I don’t want people to think it is. How do I remove the copyright notice?

    Would I think require editing a file – can’t be done on free hosted wp blogs….

    Use a theme that doesn’t include the copyright declaration, if it really bothers you. I can’t see that anyone’s going to take much notice of it anyway, but if you’re worried that it’ll scare others off republishing your content, stick a Creative Commons link in your sidebar.

    Actually your work is copyrighted, even if you don’t declair it to be. You actually have to declair it not to be to release it from copyright.

    I’d go with wank’s suggestion. Download a Creative Commons pic, upload it into a post, copy over the URL to the pic, and stick it into a link on your sidebar. Your posts would still be copyrighted but you would be at least acknoledging that you’re not withholding rights over them.
