How to remove custom menu

  • Unknown's avatar

I created my pages. Then created my custom menu. I added my pages to the menu. I noticed I had two Home pages and two Home menu options. I deleted one Home page and then the menu option. I still saw two Home menu options. But, not two Home pages only one. So, I deleted the entire Menu to start over. Even with the menu gone I still see the entire menu on my site. I did Save after each step. Please help.

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

For details on custom menus see this post of mine:

If you need more precise help, you must be more precise yourself:
    a) What should your blog front display? the “Welcome” page?
    b) What should the top menu display? “Home” plus the rest of your pages (excepting “Welcome”)?

Well. I don’t know how but in my menu I have Home and Welcome options. What I want is Home to have all of the contents that the Welcome option has. But, I cannot get to the Home page. Below is my site you can see that the Home page says page not found. But, the Welcome page has the main information on it.

I want my menu to look like this:

Home Products Events Sales & Specials Contact Us

    my site is : http://www.caughtmyeyesite.wordpress.com

    Thanks.

    1. First you’ll go to Settings > Reading and set your front to display the Welcome page.
    2. Then you’ll go to Appearance > Menus, create a menu, click View All in the Pages module, select the ready-made Home item (it should now say “Home:Welcome”) and the rest of your pages except Welcome, click Add to Menu, save menu, select menu from the Theme Locations pulldown, save.
