How to remove default image (Penscratch 2)?
-
I’m setting up this blog in Penscratch 2 theme for the first time, and I can’t find a way to remove the huge default image of mountains. Editing the header image just puts the new one *above* the mountains. I want visitors to see my posts when they first enter the site, not have to scroll past a gigantic stock photo that is irrelevant to my blog’s content.
The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Hi there,
You can remove the default image by going to the page editor, clicking on the image and pressing the delete key on your keyboard. This will remove the image block.
Go to the page with the mountain image (for you it’s the Blog page).
My Site(s) -> Pages -> BlogOnce you are in the editor, click on the image and press delete on your keyboard. Now the image will be gone! Click Update so that the changes apply to the live version of your site.
Hope that helps!

Thanks for the fix! I was trying to do it in the Customize section, & that one particular image just refused to even let me select it. But what you said did the trick perfectly.
