How to remove/ edit excerpts

  I am trying to get rid of an excerpt that I had set early on in my blog. I removed it from the edit -> post settings -> excerpts. It is blank in my settings. Yet, when I try to share my blog on Facebook, I see it. I published my post yesterday and have been trying to get rid of this excerpt so that I can share my article, but I cannot seem to get rid of it, even though it is blank in my settings.

  Could you somebody please help with this? I need to remove it ASAP.

  It doesn’t seem like the twenty twelve theme you are using support excerpts.

  Thanks @wdn2020 for contributing! You could also follow these steps:

  My Sites > Pages > “Sample” Page > “Gear” Icon, > “More Options” > and edit excerpt.
