How to remove empty frames.

Hello. I have successfully manage to remove unwanted content (sign up/login button, logo and search bar) from the very top of my website’s theme but the “cells” that encased them are still here. I cannot figure out how to remove them without breaking the theme. There are a couple lines in the header.php file that removes them completely but it also takes away the image going up to the top and the transparency settings which is not what I want. I just want those three “frames” aka the grey lines making boxes, to be gone. Is there a way to do this? The site is at https://www.japanmusicrevolution.com/wp

Thank you in advance. Also, when my site is ready I would like to use it as my main page, how can I get my wordpress site to show up with japanmusicrevolution.com without the /wp? Thank you!

The blog I need help with is: (visible only to logged in users)

Edit: I don’t know why it added that I need help with daydreamcarnival.wordpress.com, I don’t use it. The site I need help with is listed in my post and is https://www.japanmusicrevolution.com/wp. Thank you!

Edit again: through lengthy trial and error of deleting bits of code, I was able to get rid of all the crap at the top. I am now only wanting to make the middle image with the crowd shorter in height. Any help still appreciated.
