How to remove excerpt from bottom of Homepage

  I have a static page as my homepage (not a blog post). The page is just some text with a photo. However, when you scroll down to the bottom, there is an excerpt of the same text, and all that happens when you click on it is that it reloads the page. Is there any way I can get rid of this excerpt? For the life of me I can’t work out how to do it.

  Correct account: Yes

  Sorted now, thank you. Turns out it was a featured page and I could switch it off.
