How to remove " -excerpt from post- [xx more words]" from publicised post on Facebook
-
Everytime I Publicize a post onto my Facebook account, WordPress.com allows me to customise my intro message before the link to my post. However, there will always be a shortened version of my first paragraph of my post appearing right after the customised intro message, and the [xx more words], then the link.
What I wanted to achieve was just the customised intro message, then the link, without any excerpt from my post. Is there a way to do this?

I think it is Facebook, not WordPress.com that chooses the post excerpt . So unfortunately there is nothing WordPress.com can do to control how many words Facebook can show.

I did a test on my own, and added a much longer customised intro, but the excerpt still appeared on my Facebook post, so it’s not like I can “fill up as many words as possible” and then let Facebook show less on the excerpt.
So there is no way to eliminate the excerpt?
