How to remove followers

    There is a number of ways to deal with the unwanted followers. You can manually delete and/or edit their comments through the Dashboard, or you can blacklist them aka moderate. Neither of these options sat well with me, so I went on researching.

    I came across a few posts on the forums stating that removing followers is impossible. Sounded like akin to being politically incorrect so I continued my research.

    Then I came across the solution, and it even worked!! Yepper, tried and true!!

    Here’s how. Go to wordpress.com/people/followers/ (your site name).wordpress.com, scroll down, find the name of the follower you want to see gone, and then click REMOVE to the right of their name, and bingo! DONE!!

    I understand that this method might not be foolproof as some followers would be able to change their online identity, i.e. IP address, user name etc., but I am not concerned about this right now.
