You cannot remove footer credit links on any blog hosted by WordPress.COM. There is no upgrade that provides that ability. The only theme you can use are here https://wordpress.com/themes/
Removal of footer credit links is a Terms of Service violation. Though removing footer credit links, which leads to the untrue assumption that you designed the theme, and that you are hosting your site yourself is not allowed, it’s possible to add your own text to the footer area using CSS if you have purchased the Business bundle or Premium bundle of upgrades containing the Custom Design upgrade. Then you can include styling credit if you have done any unique styling and/or include a copyright notice.

Added info:
If all you want to include is a copyright many bloggers do that by including a copyright notice in a text widget.

Blogger installed plugin capability does not exist on WordPress.COM blogs and there is no upgrade you can purchase here that changes that reality. You are confusing WordPress.ORG and WordPress.COM. For that type of functionality you’d need a self-hosted site running on a paid web hosting service.
http://en.support.wordpress.com/ftp-access/We have built in plugins as you can see by clicking this link http://en.support.wordpress.com/plugins/
If what’s offered by wordpress.COM does not suit you you can hire a web host http://wordpress.ORG/hosting and set up your own wordpress.ORG software install.
WordPress.COM and WordPress.ORG are completely separate and have different username accounts, logins, features, run different versions of some themes with the same names, and have separate support documentation and separate support forums. Read the differences here http://en.support.wordpress.com/com-vs-org/
If you don’t have a username account at WordPress.ORG account, then click http://wordpress.org/support/ and register one on the top right hand corner of the page that opens, https://wordpress.org/support/register.php so you can post to the support forums there.

The easiest way to submit a sitemap …
re: the front page error message found on every new .wordpress.com blog
Nothing Found
It seems we can’t find what you’re looking for. Perhaps searching can help. There is nothing wrong with your site. By default the front page of the blog is the only page that will display all published posts on it. As soon as you publish a post not a page the front page error message and searchbox that appears on every new WordPress.COM blog will be gone. http://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/
I recommend using the step by step tutorial linked to the bottom of your Admin page at https://learn.wordpress.com
See also the “Video Quick Start” tutorial http://en.support.wordpress.com/video-quick-start/
The only relevant support documentation is all found at the Support link http://en.support.wordpress.com which is also linked to on the bottom of your Admin page.

https://en.support.wordpress.com/widgets/
https://en.support.wordpress.com/sharing/It can take weeks for search engines to index your site content. Please read this support doc https://en.support.wordpress.com/search-engines/ so you know we have no control over search engines positioning or appearance in the SERPs (search engine page results).
To verify blog ownership of a WordPress.com hosted blog with the major search engines you must use this process > http://en.support.wordpress.com/webmaster-tools/
Note: Even if you do not verify the blog the content will be indexed by search engines so don’t feel panicky about this please.WordPress.com automatically supplies sitemaps for our blogs to search engines – we do nothing. http://en.support.wordpress.com/sitemaps/#xml-sitemaps-for-search-engines
To gain search engine attention I recommend that you start publishing posts (not pages) https://en.support.wordpress.com/post-vs-page/ frequently. That’s because it can take weeks for search engines to index content in a new blog and/or to re-index content under a new URL.
For more information on expediting search engine indexing of your site read > http://onecoolsite.wordpress.com/2010/01/21/omg-i-cant-find-my-blog-on-google

Also note that the detailed description page for your theme https://wordpress.com/themes/big-brother/ has set up instructions and the live demo link is https://bigbrotherdemo.wordpress.com/
