How to remove footer credit, cannot upload image using the About Me widget

    I’ve come here to ask if anyone knows how to remove the footer credit in the advanced blogging theme from theme caliber. I have contacted support and they are of no help at all. I asked them how can I remove the credit since the option isn’t available in the footer customization option. The reply they wrote back was Hi,

    As per your request, could you please provide us your site URL.

    So we can review and get back to you.

    I told them my site looked exactly like the demo content so there was no need for me to submit my website and secondly, I don’t understand why they act like they don’t know what a footer credit is. My second inquiry to them was concerning the image upload in the About Me widget area. I have yet to get a respond. I cannot upload an image to create my about me section. Every time I click on the image upload button, nothing happens at all as if the button is completely null. Support is ignoring my inquiries and I am very disappointed.

    Before I leave my negative review regarding the theme that can possibly help others to avoid what I am going through, can someone who may know how to solve this issue help me? Thanks.

    Hi there,

    You’re now posting in the support forums for the hosting provider, WordPress.com. We can only help with sites that are hosted on our service, and with themes that we make at https://wordpress.com/themes/

    We don’t make any theme called Caliber, so I can only assume you’re referring to a stand-alone WordPress site built using the open source WordPress.org software at another host.

    If you’ve already contacted support for that theme, I recommend you continue working with them and assume that if their support asks you for something, they have a reason for doing that.

    Else there are many tutorials for the open source WordPress software available online, including ones describing how to remove the footer credit that should work on most themes.
